Fisher’s report was followed up by confirmation of a four-game suspension from NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport:
Irving has been expected by many to take a more prominent role on defense for the Cowboys, but those plans appear to be on hold until at least the fifth week of the season.
If Irving is indeed suspended for four games, Dallas will have now lost 88 games to suspension on defense since 2014.
