Chris Odom, Money Hunter, and Kendall Sanders are three names that Dallas Cowboys fans should get familiar with.
We’ve told readers of CowboysBlitz and listeners of CowboysCast in recent weeks about the implications of Dallas’ pre-draft visitors. Another part of the pre-draft process that’s just as important, but often overlooked, is the local “Dallas Day” workouts.
This is a mini-combine of sorts, featuring draft prospects that either attended college in the Dallas metropolitan area, or whose hometown is somewhere in the Metroplex. It gives the Cowboys a chance to run local prospects through athletic drills in a more personal setting than the Combine or school pro days.
Dallas Day took place at The Star in Frisco on April 7th of this year, and three of the attendees were Arkansas State teammates Chris Odom, Money Hunter, and Kendall Sanders.
On today’s edition of CowboysCast, we welcome all three into the studio to discuss their experiences at the workout, and their goals as they head into the draft.
