Cowboys left guard Ron Leary’s roller coaster ride in Dallas has come to an end.
NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo recently reported that Leary and the Denver Broncos have come to terms on a four-year deal, worth $35 million with $20 million in guarantees.
Leary was a two-year starter at left guard for the Cowboys before being replaced a quarter of the way through the 2015 season by La’el Collins.
A tense 2016 offseason, which included a trade request by Leary, was all but forgotten when a toe injury sidelined Collins. Leary’s admirable play in his stead culminated in today’s payday with the Broncos.
