2017 Mock Draft roundup: 14 analysts project what Dallas will do with the 28th pick

Now that the Super Bowl has come and gone, it’s time to shift gears over to the 2017 NFL Draft. Analysts are beginning to fine tune their mock drafts in an effort to project where prospects will land, so let’s take a quick tour around the blogosphere from the past week to determine if there is any consensus on the Cowboys first round pick.

Take a glance at several highly respected NFL Draft analysts recent mock drafts below.

There seems to be no consensus yet on which player Dallas will take (you rarely get analyst consensus at the end of the first round) but there is strong consensus on the position Dallas will select, which should come as no surprise as defensive end is arguably the Cowboys biggest need.

Of the 14 mock drafts, 11 have projected Dallas to take one of the many talented edge rushers in this deep 2017 class.
