What seemed like a streak of good news has now been reversed. The Cowboys will be missing two key players Thursday night in Seattle due to recent concussions.
Wide receiver Dez Bryant and defensive tackle Tyrone Crawford, who were both coming off of significant injuries in 2015, have both looked in mid-season form throughout training camp.
Bryant missed seven games last season and wasn’t quite the same player after breaking his foot in week one against the Giants. Crawford played all of last season, but battled through a shoulder injury that limited his effectiveness.
With Bryant recently showing that he has returned to 2014 form, and Crawford being one of the few bright spots on a depleted defensive line, this is a setback for Dallas even if both players plan to return prior to the season opener.
